I finished work early today to pick up my baby girl (Lily Dog) from the vets after she’d been spayed and micro chipped. She’s feeling very sorry for herself and hasn’t managed to walk yet. I helped her off the sofa onto the floor to eat some of her scrambled egg, and her little legs slipped all over the place like Bambi on ice. She’s back on the sofa now resting and I’ve just taken her pink bandage off that was covering where she’d had her canular. I know she’s only had a standard procedure and she’ll be fine but I hate seeing her look so tired and poorly.

Excuse the terrible pic quality. My camera's playing up |
This evening I was planning on doing a post about the lovely parcel I received from Vix during the week, but Lily gets all restless if I go upstairs so I can’t take any pics of the lovely parcel goodies at the mo. That post will have to be for tomorrow. I think Lily and I will have an early night and she can get comfy on her favourite side of the bed while I read a few more chapters of New Moon. I love the films but the books are fab and very addictive.
Hope everyone’s having a lovely week, Amy xxx
Poor little doggy! Hope she feels better soon!

ReplyDeleteAw, poor dear. Hope she perks up soon. I haven't read any of those books but heard they are dangerously addictive x
ReplyDeleteAw, poor Lily. I remember how bad I felt when my kitties were neutered but no doubt she'll be bounding around like a mad 'un tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteMust track down those books. xxx

ReplyDeleteBless her cotton sock, I hope she feels better soon!
ReplyDeleteAhhhh your reading the Twilight Saga! I adore these books, not really keen on the films to be honest. I dont like Bella, she annoys me in the books and in the films I feel she is even worse! Have you read all of them?

Poor Lilly, she is just the cutest dog. I wish I was allowed a dog, mind you not sure poor Rosie (my cat) would like it. :-)
ReplyDeleteLittle sweety, hope a good nights rest does you both good.
ReplyDeletedoggie loves. At least when i had my bunnies done they were up and about quickly, so i'm sending some bunnie healing loves too.
ReplyDeleteX
Isn't it unfair that this kind of proceedure is so much more complicated for us girls? Poor little thing. Hope she's back to her bouncy self soon. xx
ReplyDeletePoor Lily. I hope she's feeling better today.
ReplyDeleteHope Lily is feeling a little brighter today. My daughter has all books in the series and refuses to tell me what the outcome is - who she eventually chooses and how it turns out - guess I will just have to read them myself.
ReplyDeleteHope Lily is feeling better soon Linda xx
ReplyDeletei do hope lily is back on her feet very soon, you do feel terrible though for putting them through it, plenty of cuddles will soon see her back on her feet x
ReplyDeleteI was team Jacob all the way through the second book too but I turned when I read Eclipse! He annoyed me! Eclipse is the best book i think.
ReplyDeleteI made the mistake of starting to read them a few weeks before my coursework deadline to help me relax but they ended up taking priority haha!
